We all know that the work our husband’s do is dangerous. We also know that tragedies can, and too often do, take the lives of fellow firefighters. That it might take the life of our husband someday. But yet, it is still unexpected and tragic when it occurs. It is at these times that we pull together. It is at times like these we stand side by side and support the family of our lost firefighters, and each other.
